Cisco College STEM Outreach Program
The WTSC has partnered with Cisco College to coordinate the STEM Outreach Program.
The program
encourages people of All ages to learn STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math). Each program includes ands-on activities for school-aged children, 5-17, and adults who want to relive their childhood. Guardians must be present. Activities come from topics such as Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Geology, and Physics.
Some of the past activities included learning the fundamentals of microscopes, explaining introductory anatomy, delving into the chemistry of fireworks, conducting dissections, understanding the basics of acids and bases, and tackling many other fascinating topics.
